Are we Patient OF IMPATIENCE?

We  want everything fast, we don’t want to stand in queues, we want to do the transactions sitting at home, at one click. We want results in quick time. Something that involves a long process, something that gives out results gradually, we want to avoid those situations in life.

We adopt to Allopathy medicines because it gives immediate results without uprooting the cause while Ayurvedic medicines uproots the cause but gradually. We concentrate on quickness of relief rather on removal of disease from the root. We like Fast foods than normal foods because Fast foods are less time consuming, less energy consuming (in preparation) but its life consuming. It consumes our life but we are enamoured by titillating sensation of our taste buds. During exams we relied more on exam guides than on our text books. Why? Because we want short cuts, we don’t want to go through process, we want quick results, we are patient of IMPATIENCE.

But we are so fond of getting things quickly, we want results in no time and the same mood we carry in our devotion also. But Krishna Consciousness works in a purifying way. It purifies a person till he can experience the eternal bliss forever. The first time, when we came in contact with Krishna Consciousness, we got an instant bliss, something never experienced before and we thought that this bliss will not stop, it will continue forever. But no, we have to struggle; we have to fight to get that sample bliss again, it might take life time but surely that’s going to come. The only quality that we need is PATIENCE, till that time let us hold on to what we are holding on to and wait patiently for the Lord’s mercy.
